Haddon, of Liptrott Road in Chorley, was subsequently arrested for possession of a controlled substance with intent to supply. This was later confirmed as 246 grams cocaine valued at nearly £10,000. However a search of his car under Section 23 of the Misuse Drugs Act uncovered a large bag containing white powder. Chorley Police said the 31-year-old was chased and eventually detained on Cotswold Road where he was initially arrested for disqualified driving.
